Mifare and iCode support
Mercury IMC Ltd are pleased to announce that the Sentry Card Reader now supports Mifare
Proximity security cards and iCode Proximity security cards.
Both these formats are based on the industry standard 13.56MHz proximity technology.
The Sentry Cardreader now supports Wiegand, Mifare, iCode, EM4001 and HID Proximity cards.

Operator interface shines forth
The versatile Mercury2e operator interface terminal is now available with a backlit display.
In response to popular customer requests, the versatile Mercury2e operator interface terminal
is now available with an optional backlit display.
The display offers eight lines of 40 black characters on a silver background in text mode or
240 x 64 pixel in the graphics mode.
Without any compromise, the intrinsically safe functionality for use in even the most harsh
hazardous areas (Zone 0-1/Division 1) remains unchanged.
Lithium battery is ATEX approved
With its policy for continuous improvement and innovation, Mercury IMC has now released
the L203 (P203) lithium battery assembly for use in Zone 2 hazardous areas.
Marked EEx nL IIC U, the module is designed to provide backup support for computer memory.
The battery rating is 3V at 320mAh.
