A non-contact technology where a card is read by passing it
within a few centimetres of a radio frequency
window on the front of the Sentry.
With proximity technology, the identification
media can take a number of different formats including a key
fob device as an alternative to the standard Proximity card.
Currently Mifare, HID and EM4001 (or compatible) devices can be read with a Sentry.
